Humberside Police was called to Little Eden Holiday Park near Bridlington on Wednesday

Two teenagers who died at a holiday park in East Yorkshire have been named.

Humberside Police confirmed 17-year-old Ethan Slater and 15-year-old Cherish Bean, from Sheffield, died at Little Eden Holiday Park, near Bridlington, on Wednesday.

The force said their deaths were "thought to be connected to carbon monoxide poisoning".

Two men, aged 33 and 42, have been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter and remained in police custody, the force added.

The photo shows an entry to a county park. There are wooden fences, which have the words 'Little Eden Country Park' written on them. There are numerous bushes that have been planted in front of them.

The 33-year-old was arrested on Thursday and an extension to keep him for a further 12 hours had been granted, while the 42-year-old had been arrested since, police said.

Ch Supt Matt Peach said: "Our thoughts remain with the loved ones of both teenagers.

"This remains a very complex investigation with numerous lines of inquiry being followed up."

He said investigations to establish the full circumstances surrounding the deaths continued and a cordon remained in place at the site.

A fundraising page has been set up by Ethan's family.

The description said: "Ethan had his whole life ahead of him.

"He was the most kind-hearted boy. With a natural warmth. He was funny, he was protective and he carried himself with a quiet strength and loyalty that made us so proud to call him our son.

"He was loved beyond measure. A son, a brother, a grandson, a friend. His smile lit up a room, and his absence has left a silence that feels impossible to fill.

"Our lives will never be the same without him."

Police said they were working with the Health and Safety Executive, Humberside Fire and Rescue and East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
